I found the trailer to both The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi when Star Wars: Special Edition was in theaters back in 1997.

I think this trailer belongs here at RetroJunk.

I hope they do bring it back for it\'s 30th anniversary. Star Wars has become a lifestyle for me (yes I\'m a geek!) and I wouldn\'t mind paying $10 for every movie. I\'ll just bring my own food and sneak it in the theatures :)

There has been rumors about it coming back to theaters for it\'s 30th Anniversary. But I\'m not for sure though.

If they do so, I hope they\'ll do bring all six episodes of Star Wars back to the big screen.

I know that you can get the definitive version of the Original SW Trilogy on DVD. Just keep your eyes open on eBay, d4wn0ff473.

I remember when I went to see Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi on the big screen back in 1997. That was great to see on the big screen. Then two years after that Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace was in theaters. That was a great way to end the 90s and head into the New Millennium.

I still like the original version of The Star Wars Trilogy as much as I like The Star Wars Trilogy: Special Edition and the Star Wars Prequil Trilogy.

The Special Editions for Episodes IV, V and VI are the way they were MEANT to be seen! After all, with the saga now complete because of Episodes I, II, and III, it helps keep the original movies up-to-date with the newer ones so that everything can flow better. Yes, I do believe that it was necessary to re-dub Boba Fett\'s voice with Temuera Morrison, considering the fact that Boba Fett is a clone to Jengo Fett (from Episode II) I also thought that it was necessary for them to place Hayden Christensen at the end of Episode VI because it helps everything flow together a lot better and bring it all to a close nicely. The only thing I didn\'t like was the added scream with Luke at the end of Episode V (which was actually Emperor Palpatine\'s scream from Episode VI, when Darth Vader kills him) It didn\'t really belong there. The other changes are just fine. The nerdy fanboys who say otherwise are wrong.
