Halloween 1 and 2 are to this day, hands down my favorite horror films of all time. This could actually happen, part 1 and 2 in one night, or close to it anyhow, which is what made it scary. As a kid Michael Myers in that emotionless mask scared the crap out of me, it terrified me lol.

Kudos on this one. And I really dug that they continued the night in part 2. As a 2 part movie it completed it. All the spinoffs and sequels in this movie series... EH not so good.

No where near as good as the first. I know how the first ends, but they shouldn\'t have made it take place RIGHT after the first one ends.

hey, if you look real hard dana carvey is in this film. he\'s got his back to the camera, wearing a baseball cap, a vest and a news reporter talks to him asking him to get some information.

Originally, the Michael Myers story was supposed to end with this movie. John Carpenter and Debra Hill wanted to make the rest of the movies into an anthology of different horror stories, which is where \"Halloween III: Season of the Witch\" comes into play. But fans wanted more of Michael Myers, thus causing the third entry to flop and the remaining sequels to return to the roots of the original story.
