Steve Martin is funny, the "Nathan teaching Patty martial arts" part was funny, Grandma is likeable, and the "Cowboy Gil" part and Nathan's serenade to his wife Susan were the best ones in the whole movie, hands down. But... some of the scenes drag on for too long.
However, all of this is worth it to see one of the most heartwarming endings to a movie.
