this is one of the majorly overlooked movies of the 1980's and concerns life backstage at a big new years eve bash in a venue similar to SF's old Winterland. Cameo's abound like Lee Ving from LA's rude, lewd, and crude punk band Fear to Howard Kaylin of the Turtles and Zappa (with parner a band called Flo and Eddie) to the drummer of the Doors (something Dinsmore....i forget) as well as the required alien dope dealer, "Electric Larry" and our old friend Alex from A Clockwork Orange doing a spot on Mick Jagger clone.
This movie is worth seeing more than a few times, especially if you are not in your right mind. Oh, yes....Robert Picardo from the future Star Trek:TNG plays the fire marshall.
