The movie was produced by Jack Haley,Jr.The

son of the entertainer..who played"Hickory Twicker"/

"The Tin Man"in Metro's legendary"Wizard Of Oz" and

Ms.Minelli's ex husband.

The scenes featuring the hosts/narrators of the film

was shot at The Old MGM Culver City,Cal. backlot..

prior to it's being razed.

and The movie spawned two sequels"That's Entertainment PartII"

hosted and narrated by Gene Kelly and Fred Astaire and

"That's Entertainment Part III"hosted and by narrated by

a star studded group featuring:Gene Kelly,Cyd Charrisse

and Ray Bolger.
