To Turtle28, it was actually his throat he cut but nevermind...when I got the tape in the 1980's I played it several times a week for months!!! Loved it!!!
Love this movie. When I was in 5th grade my music teacher, who would later become my band director, played this movie for us. He had cut out the opening scene of Salieri cutting his wrists. Over the next 7yrs of being in his classes I saw the movie at least once a yr. I never knew about the opening scene until my senior yr when he played it for us again and actually played the begining. Tom Hulce did a great job as Mozart. The laugh he came up with was priceless.
