A great Terrance Malick film. Visually beautiful as has now become a standard for all preceeding Malick films even if they are a bit hollow in the middle. Badlands is a simple story told in a straight and powerful manner without Malick's mystical ornamentation. Martin Sheen and Sissy Spacek are great.
