It's sort of a shame that they stopped the series after this one. Although John Astin and some other cast members from Mr. Boogedy were somewhat poorly replaced, the story and effects were much better in this installment. Since the first film was the pilot for a TV show that never got going, it's at least good that they followed it with an actual film.
Disney needs to acknowledge their made-for-TV films and release them on DVD, since their channel's gone to hell and doesn't play this kind of stuff anymore.
