man this has to be 1 of my favorite Batman movies. I remember seeing this movie with my brothers and my dad i had the Batman Forever t-shirt on ha ha good times

This is the first movie i've ever seen in a theater and i thought it was awesome, but i doubt if i see it today i'll have the same experience

Uh....Joel Shomoker. He made this Batman movie more kid friendly. but, it was a little good, unlike the 4th film...

batman forever is underrated, plus i think lego batman the video game should have been based on the movies instead of following it's own storyline, but hey, if they went by the movies, harley wouldn't have been in it.

uhm let me see here in 1989 the jokerkilled his parents, and then he became batman. So how is it in 1997 when batam tried to save that guy in the court room, that's when he became two face. After that he heard two shots, and then he became batman because he knew two face killed his parents. Uhm hello here his parents got killed by jack which turned into the joker back in 1989, this plot got screwed up bad. I think the person was drunk or high when he was thinking up on how in this batman beyond movie was going to be. I was the only one to see this coming and yet why didn't anyone see this from square one to square 2! because everyone was blinded by this new movie.

I just watched this movie for the first time all the way through last night, and after reading what people have said about this film and the next, i wasn't expecting much but hell it was a great movie. Now i know people are gonna say "how could you like this?" but it was a great plot with great casting. It's just too bad that good old "boy George" directed the film and decided to have an oppurtunity to test the new suit complete with nipples, Yay nipples! As a final note i just wanna say, Kilmer did a good job replacing Keaton, even though he was the best batman, TOmmy Lee Jones looks just like two-face frim the comics (except for his face being more purple instead of scarred reddish brown), And it would have looked a lot like BAtman and Robin if Burton didn't produce it. (thank god he did)

Joel put nipples on the suits because HE'S GAY. Thats just some lame ass excuse that he made up. And the only reason it made so much is because people went in expecting a good film but they got a steaming pile of shit. Lee Jones and Carrey ruined Riddler and Two face. But technically Joel did but still!

First of all Batman Forever was the top grossing summer movie of 1995 just behind Toy story for that year, so alot of people enjoyed it. It wasn't until Batman & Robin "missed" at the box office (it scored pretty good with fans of the TV series and parents who could finnaly take their kids to a Batman feature with out being grossed out or scared) that all these Forever haters started to surface and a lot of flip flopers began bashing forever for it's technicolor approach, they seem to forget that it was still very dark with Bruce trying to fight his inner demons.

I can admit that Tommy Lee Jones and Jim Carrey did give cartoony performances as Riddler and Two-Face and that the "bat-nipples" were wrong, but Schumacher kept reminding people that they were shooting a "comic book movie" so the actors all but Kilmer and O'Donnell never took their roles seriously. Schumacher also is very openly gay but that was not why there were nipples on the bat-suits, his belief were that these characters are worshiped almost like gods so he interperated that into the suits by looking and getting his insiration from statues of the greek gods.

In my opinion this film is average but the actors are good especially Val Kilmer is the best actor for Batman!

Michael Keaton is also a good but in reality he is a little short and Batman in the comics he´s tall.But Michael has a great face expression for Batman

George Clooney is the worse actor for Batman!

THE worst Batman movie of all! Even more worse than "Batman and Robin" (which at least had a fair amount of good action sequences and special effects) This one was just plain cheesy and not even Jim Carrey or Tommy Lee Jones could save it! See "Batman Begins" instead. It is THE definite Batman of all!
