This was my favorite movie when I was young and I had seen it about a million times. I knew that movie better than I knew anything and yet I would cry hystericlly every time at the end when Dot wants her mother to meet the kangaroo and the kangaroo has to leave. I mean I would lose it completly. It destroyed me every time but I loved it.

OK, I remember watching this movie as a kid and it spooked the crap out of me. I recently found it and watched it and now I know why. There is something just plain "wrong" with this movie. And BTW, I get chills everytime I see that kangaroo waving at the end. Its just not right

I was in Wal-mart not long ago and They had a copy of this movie for 2 dollars on DVD. You better believe I snagged one. I loved this movie when I was little. My sister and I would sit and watch it over and over.

I remember watching this on cable TV in the 80's. I imagine if you were a kid back when this was released, it would probably have pulled at your heartstrings at times, especially at the end. Btw, doesn't Dot look like Family Guy's Meg Griffin as a kid?

CAN ANYONE FIND THIS MOVIE!!! I REMEBER IT AS A CHILD BUT THOUGHT I IMANGED IT BECAUSE NO ONE I KNOW REMEBERS IT!!! VERY SAD BUT SOOO GOOD!!!
