In my opinion vastly better than Holy Grail. Probably among the funniest movies ever made. To think it began as Jesus Christ: Lust for Glory, but they scrapped that idea when they really found no grounds to mock the otherwise peacful teaching of Christ and went instead for the more fanatical aspeacts for faith and blind followers. This was lost on the protestors who thought that the movie was indeed mocking Christ, particularly the crucifiction scene. Are they unaware that the Romans dispatched many persons in this fashion. History be damned when it gets in the way of fanatical rantings. The first time heard Always Look On he Bright Side of Life I nearly fell out of my chair in hystrics.
