I was disapointed that it didn't stay true to cannon but I still enjoyed watching it.

An OK movie, but kind of a rip-off! Nothing like the cartoon, set in 1980's earth, instead of Eternia. Different characters, different names, different everything! A great example of an adaption that was just cashing in on a franchise.

I will always have something of a soft spot for this movie. It's really cool!

I have to agree with jugheaddm on this one. If the movie had come out before the cartoon I dont think we would have memories of waging battles between Grayskull and Snake Mountain on Christmas morning.

You guys got to be kidding me. This was a horrible movie. It tried to be More Star Wars, than Masters of the Universe, I can't wait for the New Masters movie in 09.

I just watched it and all I can say is Awesome !

The Greatest movie of all time

The nearest cinema to where I was in 87 was the next town over and I missed Masters of the universe when it played during our holidays because we went to visit my aunt and uncle on a pig farm. so there I was on this farm probably watching some age innapropriate movie on VHS like Commando,Nightmare on elm st or Drum.

Dolf Lundgren did a great He-Man and Frank Lengella did a great Skeletor.

This was an awful concept for a movie. I saw this when I was 11 and even Dolf Lundgren couldn't save this movie from being sunk lower than the botton of an oil pan.

I love the movie, for nostalga reasons, it is a very corny movie however, and wasn't quite in tune with what the cartoon was about. In this movie they have him always as He-Man, not prince Adam, cringer and Orko never made appearances and most of the other heroes/villans didn't make an appearance, though i will say that the chick that played Evil Lyn was really good. the little midget elf guy with the time machine was totally fabricated from whole cloth for the movie, there was alot wrong but i still love the movie. And Dolf Lundgren DID play a good He-Man.

I love this movie of Masters of the Universe as much as I love the cartoon series of both He-Man and She-Ra.
