Awesome movie! loved it since i was 4 when i saw this in Warriors of the Wind cut then when i was in high school i saw the fansub uncut version and realized Warriors of the Wind was a butchery. This has been one of my favorite animes movies in a long time and really influenced Avatar.

This movie was great, one of my favourite Miyazaki films.Who said this movie is crap probably saw Warriors of the Wind, which was an unauthorized edit/redub of this movie which cut out a lot of scenes and changed the plot around.The animation in this is great for 1984.
