Great movie, I saw this movie in the theatre when it was new and I was about 8 years old. I thought it was great but didn't really get all the humor until I saw it again when I was about 16. I think this was Harrison Fords first movie. I liked the second American Graffiti also but it wasn't quite as good as the first one.

Good movie with a good cast of little-known actors who went on to be stars. Fun to look at all the old cars.

This Film Was Amazing. It Layed The Foundation For Another Great Movie, Dazed & Confused.

lordxbox66 is right. If you watch these two movies they have alot in common. exept that the teens in american graffiti are suppose to be teens in the 50's and the teens in dazed and confuzed are suppose to be teens in the 70's. Its a great movie though.

Actually this was the first movie George Lucas did with his company of Lucasfilm Ltd. There was a movie George Lucas did with his friend Francis Ford Coppola a couple of years before this movie was ever around. That movie was THX 1138. Which was based off of George Lucas' 15 minute college film Electronic Labyrinth: THX 1138 4EB.

By the way, I love American Graffiti. Good cast, good music, and good humor.
