Every Friday night when I was growing up my dad would rent a movie on his way home from work and usually they were movies like Ninja Turtles, Ghostbusters, Die Hard, Rambo, or something like that. One Friday after school I come home excited to see what movie my dad picked up, but was immediately disppointed when I saw a VHS tape in the livingroom with the title Memphis Belle. My 11 year old mind was thinking "who the heck is Memphis Belle?! Sounds like a boring documentary about some fat opera singer to me!" After giving the film a chance, it turne out to be one of my favourite war movies and I'm not a "war movie" fan at all. Really interesting, believable characters played by a great cast like DB Sweeney, Billy Zane, John Lithgow, Harry Connick Jr, and some actors "before they were famous" like Sean Astin.
