The Great Gatsby
Release: March 27, 1974

Robert Redford and Mia Farrow star in the 1974 version of F. Scott Fitzgerald's classic novel, "The Great Gatsby". The quiet Nick Carroway lives in a small cottage on west egg next door to the mysterious and wealthy Jay Gatsby (Redford).Gatsby is in love with the lovely Daisy Buchannon who lives with her husband, Tom, in a beautiful house on east egg, as she had been his when Gatsby was in the war. As for Tom and Daisy, "neither of them can stand the person their married to!" Tom is in love with Myrtle Wilson, who lives with her husband, George, in a gas station in the middle of the two eggs. Their home is watched by the eyes of Dr. T. J. Eckleburg (or as they see it, the eyes of God.) While Tom and Myrtle are away making love, and leaving George Wilson suspicious, Gatsby is risking anything and everything to win his Daisy back.
