Terror in the Aisles
Release: October 26, 1984

Terror in the Aisles is a 1984 horror documentary, with narrations by Donald Pleasance (HALLOWEEN) and Nancy Allen (DRESSED TO KILL), featuring clips from over 75 films, including SUSPIRIA (1977), HALLOWEEN (1978), PSYCHO (1960), WHEN A STRANGER CALLS (1979), THE EXORCIST (1973), WAIT UNTIL DARK (1967), NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD (1968) and more. The film recaps on some of the famous horror scenes in horror film history (up until the 1984 release) and tells us about what makes a horror movie terrifying and horrifying and how the audience reacts to the film. The film, sadly, is only avaliable on a VHS dating from 1992, and a Japanese laserdisk under the title "That's Shock", and without a DVD (or Blu-Ray) release due to the rights of the film clips used in the film. We can only hope it might happen... "It's only a movie, but sooner or later, it's time to go home." -Donald Pleasance, TERROR IN THE AISLES (1984).
