A series containing live action and animated shorts featuring The Three Stooges. Each episode began and concluded with a live action segment featuring the trio and 4 animated shorts between them (with Moe Howard, Larry Fine and Curly-Joe DeRita reprising their classic roles). 156 cartoons and 40 live-action segments.were made during the shows one year one however the show was criticized by Three Stooges fans due to the water down slapstick (due to worries of parental groups attacking the violence of the earlier shorts) and the obvious sign of the Stooges too old foe the extreme slapstick. The show would still be featured on various networks including WGN and Boomerang. The show was also released on DVD by Rhino Home Entertainment but some episodes can be found in the Public Domain.
