The Postman

In the year 2013, a nomadic traveler travels across a post-apocalyptic-America trying to find food and water. While camping in a local town it is attacked by General Bethlehem a fascist man taking any prisoners, food, water and other supplies for his Holnists army. The nomad is forced into Bethlehem after escaping he finds letters and a postman uniform at fist only using it for warmth however he starts to carry the letters to towns inspiring hope for a united people and a civilized world. The film was released in 1997 and was met with harsh reviews by film critics. The film later went on be nominated at the Golden Raspberry Awards (The Razzies) and went on to win the following: Worst Picture, Worst Actor, Worst Director, Worst Screenplay and Worst Original Song.
