It Came from Hollywood

Directed by Malcolm Leo and Andrew Solt, is a compilation of clips from many famous and not-so-famous B and Z movies, including Maniac, Reefer Madness, Glen or Glenda, The Cool and the Crazy, Teenagers from Outer Space, and Plan 9 from Outer Space, with wraparound segments and narration by several famous comedians, including Dan Aykroyd, John Candy, Gilda Radner, and Cheech and Chong. It includes clips from, among other films, gorilla pictures, anti-marijuana films and a special tribute to the worst filmmaker of all time, Edward D. Wood, Jr. Many of the films featured in It Came From Hollywood were later featured on the similarly formatted series Mystery Science Theater 3000. A DVD release was planned, but cancelled.
