Linus:
"What are you gonna do on Thanksgiving Charlie Brown?"
Charlie Brown:
"My mother, dad, Sally & I are going over to my grandmother's for Thanksgiving Dinner."
Sally:
"Why don't you come along Linus? We can hold hands under the table!"
Linus:
"Blech!"
Linus:
"Thanksgiving is a very important holiday. Ours was the first country in the world to make a national holiday for giving thanks."
Sally:
"We have to write an essay on Stanley Miles!"
Charlie Brown:
"You mean Miles Standish."
Sally:
"I can't keep track of all those people."
Sally:
"What's the matter big brother?"
Charlie Brown:
"Nothing. I'm just checking the mailbox."
Sally:
"What were you expecting, a turkey card?"
Lucy:
"Isn't it peculiar, Charlie Brown how some holiday traditions just seem to fade away?"
Charlie Brown:
"We've got another holiday to worry about. It seems Thanksgiving Day is upon us."
Sally:
"I haven't even finished all my Halloween candy yet!"
Peppermint Patty:
"Hey Charles, how does that song go?(singing) "Over the river and through the woods, To Grandmother's House we go!""
Eevrybody:
"(singing)The horse knows the way, to carry the sleigh, through the white and drifted snow."
Charlie Brown:
"Yes but there's just one problem with that song. My grandmother lives in a condominium."
Peppermint Patty:
""What kind of a Thanksgiving dinner is this? Where's the turkey, Chuck? Don't you know anything about Thanksgiving dinners? Where's the mashed potatoes? Where's the cranberry sauce? Where's the pumpkin pie?"
-Peppermint Patty"
Charlie Brown:
"I can't cook a Thanksgiving dinner. All I can make is cold cereal and maybe toast."
Linus:
"Hmm--that's right. I've seen you make toast. You can't butter it, but maybe we can help you."
Sally:
"I went down to the store to buy a turkey tree, and all they have are things for Christmas!"
Charlie Brown:
"For Christmas? Already?"
Charlie Brown:
"We've got *another* holiday to worry about. It seems Thanksgiving Day is upon us.
-Charlie Brown"
Sally:
"Why don't you come along, Linus? We could hold hands under the table.
-Sally"
