Jonah: A VeggieTales Movie
Release: October 04, 2002

It's not animals nor minerals; so it must be those imaginary gospel-influenced vegetables. After nearly 9 years being on home video, the Veggies made their big break into theatrical, splashing as big as the whale. After a roadside accident causes the Veggie Family to take refuge at a french seafood restaurant, they seem to all want to blame each other. The group soon meets the Pirates Who Don't Do Anything who begin telling them the story of Jonah, a prophet from Israel who must deliver a message from God to the city of Nineveh. Trying to run away from God, Jonah gets from one crisis into another on his perilous journey and keeps blaming God. The Pirates hope the Veggies can learn the same lesson that Jonah did, that God is compassionate and understanding to those who understand him. with the (one or multiple) voice talents of Phil Vischer, Mike Nawrocki, Tim Hodge, Lisa Vischer, Shelby Vischer, Dan Anderson, Kristin Blegen, Jim Poole, and Ron Smith.
