The second film in the Showa era Gamera series sees him returning to Japan after his rocket got destroyed by the meteor. Meanwhile, explorers obtain a rainbow rock on a remote jungle island which soon turns out to be egg of the creature Barugon. A battle between two monsters takes place in Osaka.
