Mr. Spoon recieves a spaceship from Mrs. Spoon, so now he can fly from Junk Planet where the Spoon family live through Blanket sky and on to Button Moon. Through his telescope he sees the Three Little Pigs.

Mr. Spoon flies to Button Moon, there he sees the bottle army having an inspection by Captain Bottle, Small Bottle is upset because he lost his label. Through his telescope Mr Spoon sees Brew the witch using her magic to make breakfast.

Mr. Spoon travels to Button Moon to fish in Buttonhole Pond. There he sees all of the different types of fish and animals that live in the pond. Through the telescope he sees Sidney and Baby. As Sidney sits outside and reads a newspaper, his cat Mabel, keeps waking the baby up from his nap.

Mr Spoon gets up early one morning and takes a trip to Button Moon. There he meets Captain Large, who orders his army of bottles to build him a castle out of pipes. When looking through the telescope Mr Spoon sees Bertie and Gertie who are granted three wishes from Mary the fairy.

On his way to Button Moon, Mr. Spoon sees the stars in Blanket Sky making a fruit cocktail. But when he lands on Button Moon and stops to watch the runner beans have a race someone steals his spaceship.

Mr Spoon arrives on Button Moon to find a kitchen dresser has land before him. When he goes to talk to the items on the dresser the pepper pot makes the Toby jug sneeze causing the teacup's saucers to fly away. Later when Mr Spoon looks through his telescope he sees a duck that doesn't know what he is.

Through his telescope Mr. Spoon sees a pair of dogs playfully named Scruffy and Basil who play "Hunt the Bone".

Mr Spoon gets to Button Moon and discovers Captain Large's castle. Later when he looks through the telescope he sees a colony of ants who have spent the summer building a home for when winter arrives, whilst their friend the grasshopper has spent the summer being lazy and unproductive.

Through his telescope Mr. Spoon spies a Magic Totem pole and brightly coloured birds.

Through his telescope on Button Moon Mr. Spoon watches on as the classic story of the Tortoise and the Hare takes place on the planet below. Also while on Button Moon Mr. Spoon meets the talking umbrellas.

While on Button Moon Mr. Spoon finds a Wardrobe and makes a lonely dress happy. Through his telescope Mr. Spoon sees the age old tale of The Fox and the Hen.

Mrs Spoon and Tina prepares to visit Button Moon for the very first time. Mrs Spoon even drives the spaceship there. Once there they watch the paper circus, and through the telescope Mrs Spoon sees Scruffy the dog who is sad because his friend Basil is moving away.

The Spoon family travel to Button Moon where the Vacuum cleaner is sucking up fallen stardust. When they look through the telescope they see Brew the witch preparing for her mother to visit.

Mr Spoon takes Tina to Button Moon. There they see a single glove who has lost her partner. Tina meets Reggie Veggie, a man made out of vegetables. Through the telescope they see a caterpillar turn into a beautiful butterfly.

It is snowing all over Blanket Sky. Whilst Tina and Mrs Spoon stay home to build a snowman, Mr Spoon visits Button Moon. There he sees the bottle army trying to keep warm in the snow and through the telescope he sees the Chief and his son, Running-Water, trying to build a canoe.

After a game of hide and seek Mr Spoon takes Tina to Button Moon. There the naughty Vacuum Cleaner is sucking up letters that have fallen from the sky. Through the telescope Mr Spoon sees Bertie and Gertie, who are entering the village fair with their tomatoes.

Mr Spoon flies to Button Moon in his spaceship where he finds Vacuum Cleaner and Small Bottle are cleaning the castle pipes. Through his telescope Mr Spoon sees Scruffy the dog, who is singing like a bird.

When Mr Spoon lands his spaceship on Button Moon, the blast from the engine blows little Fluff into outer space and on to a star. Mr Spoon comes up with an idea to save him but needs the help of a special friend. Through the telescope he sees the tortoise and the hare who are having problems keeping track of a jam sandwich.
