This strange early 90s show was about a boy called Patrick who recieves an invitation to take part in a TV game show called 'Finders Keepers'. He is told to tune in to the mysterious Channel 8 at a specific time to take part. He manages to do so while in a store at a shopping centre with his mother. Speaking to him through the TV set, the host of Finders Keepers sucks Patrick in to the tv and he is transpoted across the 'time barrier' to another world. The TV game show tasks Patrick with finding lost objects back in his own world, and returning them across the time barrier to their owners. A significant feature of 'The Finder' is the strange and enigmatic clock that is found in the shopping centre and the creepy silver faced manequin/dummy that emerges from the top of it to strike the correct time. Other memorable elements are the creepy desert landscape of the other world, the glass ball, and the orange jumpsuit wearing 'barrier guards'.
