From the same animation team that produced The Dreamstone; comes Filmfar and Peter Lewis' adaptation of Robert Lewis Stevenson's novel, Treasure Island. Young Jim Hawkins (a dog) embanks on a journey to find a lost treasure buried on a mysterious island by Captain Flint, aided by Captain Smollett (a dog, a bloudhound to be presise), Dr. Livesey (a dog), Squire Trelawney (a pigeon) and a new character exclusive to the TV series called Jane (a vixen) and later Ben Gunn (a dog) they help him find the treasure before it falls into the clutches into of Long John Silver (a fox) and Pew (a rat). The show had two series the first in 1993 and after a year and a half the second series in 1995 which continued from where the first series left of, making a total of 26 episodes.
