He is married to Francine, a ditzy woman trying to make up for her wild past life. His daughter Hayley is extremely liberal and is a college student and environmental activist and his son Steve is nerdy and unpopular high school student. They also live with Roger a fugitive alien from Area 51 whom Stan is secretly keeping home due to a "life debt" and Klaus, a talking goldfish.
