Carmen and her younger brother Juni Cortez live with their parents, Ingrid and Gregorio, whom they believe are boring, unaware that their parents are actually semi-retired international spies, working for an organization called the OSS (Organization of Super Spies, a reference to the Office of Strategic Services). Originally, Ingrid and Gregorio were enemies who were assigned to eliminate each other, but ended up falling in love and later got married. Juni who has self-esteem issues is a fan of a children's show called Floop's Fooplies, which Gregorio despises. After Gregorio learns that the show may have to do with the disapearance of several adults, he and his wife go to investigate leaving Carmen and Juni in the care of a family guardian. After their parents are kidnapped by none other than Floop himself, Carmen and Juni learn the truth and must now go out to rescue their parents and foil Floop's plan.
