The Wizard of Oz

Dorothy Gale and her dog, Toto, are swept away in their farmhouse by a tornado to the Land of Oz. She embarks on a journey to the Emerald City to seek the Wizard to help her get back home to her Aunt Em and Uncle Henry in Kansas. On the way, she befriends a Scarecrow who wants a brain, a Tin Man who wants a heart, and a Cowardly Lion who wants courage. The Wicked Witch of the West puts a stop for her to be back in Kansas because she has her sister's ruby slippers, which Glinda, the Good Witch of the North, gave her as her own protection. When she and her friends reach the Emerald City, the Wizard grants her friends' wishes but not hers, so Glinda helps her get back to Kansas. With Judy Garland, Frank Morgan, Ray Bolger, Bert Lahr, Jack Haley, Billie Burke, Margaret Hamilton, Charley Grapewin, and the Singer Midgets as The Munchkins. Wicked Witch of the West: "Who killed my sister? Who killed the Wicked Witch of the East? Was it you?!"
Lion: "Auuggghhhh!"
Scarecrow: "What happened?"
Lion: "Somebody pulled my tail."
Scarecrow: "You did it yourself."
Lion: "I... oh..."
An Apple Tree and the Scarecrow: "Tree: "Are you hinting my apples aren't what they oughta be?" Scarecrow: "Oh, no. It's just that she doesn't like little green worms!""
Glinda, the Witch of the North: "(Singing) Come out, come out, wherever you are, and meet the young lady who fell from a star."
Lion: "Look at the circles under my eyes. I haven't slept in weeks!"
