Fierce Creatures
Release: January 24, 1997

The 4 main players from "A Fish Called Wanda" (John Cleese, Jamie Lee Curtis, Kevin Kline and Michael Palin) reunited in 1996 for another tale of culture clash. Former Hong Kong policeman Rollo Lee (Cleese) has been placed in charge of Marwood Zoo, which was recently purchased by a media mogul named Rod McCain (Kline). Lee decides to bring business back up by instituting a policy where only fierce creatures will be featured. Staff member Adrian "Bugsy" Malone (Palin) objects to this idea, but it would be prefferable to the ideas concocted by Rod's son Vince (Kline again). When the fierce creatures policy is revoked, Vince uses all sorts of ideas from mechanical animals to endorsements by people like Bruce Springsteen, even though these endorsements aren't authorized. Businesswoman Willa Weston (Curtis) is caught in the middle of all this, falling for Rollo and the animals in his care, yet still working with Vince at the same time. Things get out of control as the movie goes on, and once it's over, Marwood will never be the same.
