Twin Peaks
Debut: April 08, 1990
Ended: September 03, 2017

From the strange mind of director David Lynch came Twin Peaks, a murder mystery with his signature surreal and deranged twists detailing FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper's (Kyle MacLachlan) search for the killer of high school homecoming queen Laura Palmer (Sheryl Lee) in the quirky town of Twin Peaks. Best known for its incredibly bizarre imagery and its protagonist's love for cherry pie and coffee, Twin Peaks won 3 Golden Globes and was nominated for 12 Emmy awards in its initial run. It also curated a 1992 feature film directed by Lynch, "Fire Walk with Me", which answered some open questions from the series and detailed the moments leading up to the murder of Laura Palmer. Original run: April 8, 1990 - June 10, 1991 (30 episodes produced for ABC in a span of 1-1/2 seasons) Revival: May 21 - September 3, 2017 (18 episodes produced in a short-lived Showtime run)
