This British soap through the years had the Barlows, the Walkers, the Tanners, the Faircloughs, the Ogdens, the Roberts, the Tilsleys, the Baldwins, the Bishops, the Websters, the Gees, the Duckworths, the Sullivans, the McDonalds, the McIntyres, the Platts, the Bradleys, and more. It also had the major pub in Weatherfield called "The Rovers Return." Actor William Roache had been playing the role of Ken Barlow on the series since the 1st episode.
