The programme ran for seven series runs, first broadcast on 1 May 1990. It starred Joe McGann as househand Charlie Burrows and Diana Weston as business woman Caroline Wheatley. Charlie moved from London into Caroline's home with his daughter, Joanna, played by Kellie Bright (who had appeared in T-Bag).
