{"title":"Tattooed Teenage Alien Fighters From Beverly Hills","dateDebut":"1994","dateEnd":"1995","description":"This show focused on four \"teenagers\", Laurie, Gordon, Drew, and Swinton being recruited by an blob-like alien called Nimbar. To fight off the monsters sent by Emperor Gorganus, and his talking bird friend, Lechner.\r\n\r\nIn the first episode Nimbar recruits four \"teenagers\", and with a touch by his \"finger\" gives them each a tattoo from the Zodiac. When their tattoo flash, this means he needs them and a portal appears near them to go his underground lair-like place.\r\n\r\nTo become their sentinel form, they step on a platform, AKA the Transo Discs (in the lair) and each yell out their sign. Laurie is Scorpio (Aqua\/Light Blue-ish), Gordon is Taurus (Black), Drew is Centaur (Purple), and Swinton is Apollo (Yellow). When putting their hands together (in square) they form the ultimate sentinel, Nitron!\r\n\r\nThis was really a low-budget kid show, which the Emperor Gorganus was made up from what looks like old rubber Halloween like costumes. His side kick, Lechner a talking bird is made out of rubber, too.\r\n\r\nGorganus finally received the map to the focal points of the power portals, earth is the key to these power portals.\r\n\r\nGorganus then sends ninjabot to make way for the domination of the universe.\r\n\r\nLaurie, Gordon, Drew, and Swinton are working on a science project for school.\r\n\r\nBut Gordon spills coffee on the device and it opens up a portal to Nimbar: The head protector of the power portals and councillor of the galactic sentinels.\r\n\r\nNimbar selects the four to fight Gorganus and his army. When they call out their own constellation name they become the Tattooed Teenage Alien Fighters From Beverly Hills.\r\n\r\nLater in 1994, the Alien Fighters made a cameo appearance alongside the Power Rangers on a special MMPR episode entitled \"Villians' Revenge.\" \r\n\r\nIt was during this episode that the popularity of the show began to increase as both the Alien Fighters and the Power Rangers achieved success in defeating their enemies. \r\n\r\nSadly, however, in 1995, the Alien Fighters show went downhill due to the rising popularity of the Power Rangers and was eventually canceled.
