{"title":"Baretta","dateDebut":"1975","dateEnd":"1978","description":"Tony Baretta was an unconventional cop. He was\r\nstreetwise, single, with a decidedly funky lifestyle:\r\nhe holed up in apartment 2-C of the run-down King\r\nEdward Hotel with his pet cockatoo Fred. He was\r\nusually seen in a T-shirt and jeans, with his\r\ntrademark cap pulled down over his forehead. Being\r\nthe orphaned son of poor Italian immigrants, Tony\r\nknew the city inside out. He was a master of disguise,\r\nand because of his rough appearance was able to\r\ninfiltrate such groups as motorcycle gangs and even\r\n\"the Mob.\" Needless to say, he refused to have a\r\npartner and always worked alone. Inspector Shiller\r\nwas his original boss, later succeeded by Lt. Brubaker.\r\nBilly Truman was a retired cop who was a\r\ncombined manager and house detective\r\nat the hotel where Baretta lived.","leadImageMedUrl":"http:\/\/distro-1.retrojunk.com\/secure\/ac4f3a48ef9cfd9e20c6bbc4ec5136e5454c458facd19c7164a1f2d3d2ad386cfa7a2f\/image\/c86_b860fb8fa6.jpg"}
