{"title":"S.W.A.T.","dateDebut":"1975","dateEnd":"1976","description":"This series brought army-style warfare to big-city\r\npolice work. S.W.A.T. stood for Special Weapons And\r\nTactics, whose job it was to tackle situations--usually\r\nviolent ones--that line police couldn't handle, with\r\nwhatever weaponry was necessary. Vietnam veterans\r\nall, the S.W.A.T. squad dressed in semimilitary attire,\r\nand were organized along the lines of a front-line\r\npatrol. Lt. Harrelson was the C.O., Sgt. Kay the\r\nobserver and communicator, Jim the team scout, Dominic\r\nthe marksman, and T.J. the backup. Often the young\r\njunior officers were a bit too eager to use their\r\nfirepower, and Harrelson had to hold them back. But\r\nas often as not, it was blast away. The team\r\ntraveled in a specially equipped van.","leadImageMedUrl":"http:\/\/distro-1.retrojunk.com\/secure\/1d7e6347dd78c04055fa5b42d4a90af4dc5c5814e9ce7b99c2a59a20dee75c47a2fa61\/image\/235_1404c18253.jpg"}
