I played one, it was cool, it had a racing game where you earn money to buy new parts, just like the big fad today. That is the only game I remember, however, I cannot recall the name.

I had one when they came out for $99. I thought it was the best system around. I had Keith Courage, TV Sports Basketball, and Splatterhouse. It was a good system but the controllers here really easy to break. (where you plug the system in) Looked as good if not better than the snes.

I owned one. That system was the best. Neutopia was a great Zelda clone. Here's a great link for the games. http://www.vgmuseum.com/tg16b.htm Every so often there is an annoying pop up.

Same here, but add Veigues Tactical Gladiator.

Two of the finest games that ever were. Own both.

Do you remember the brief media stir(very brief, but I remember seeing news stories) over the violence in Splatterhouse?

A friend of mine had one, I played a few games on it - thought it was a pretty solid system! I always wanted to get my hand on the CD attachment so I could play "It Came from the Desert." I loved the original Amiga version, and apparently the TG-16 CD version revamped the original with FMV instead of the original hand drawn graphics. Alas, I never got to see it in action... Although I still have the Amiga version. And it still rocks. :)

My friend had that game for the TG-16. I didn't have the TG-16 CD player though. But I did get to borrow it for awhile while he was moving. Got to play Y's Book I & II. I loved those games. They had some of the best music. Same with Valis II. That was a fun game where the more you gained armor, the less you wore. Of course you were playing a Japanese schoolgirl.
