    		 I recall going to EB when I was like 10 and seeing a system called Neo-Geo Gold.....the system was like 700 bucks and games were like 150...does anyone else recall this? my mother almost shit when I put it on my christmas list...there was a cool baseball game for it that we used to play at Pizza Hut.

      		 God yes I remember that crap. The system was a ripoff because all of the games soon ended up for free to download on the internet with using an emulator. Over pricing of video games is a companies biggest downfall. Sega is alive in video games today but not in systems because of the overpricing with their Dreamcast. System was over $200 and games were $70.

      Playstation came along and decided to fix what Sega had done wrong and copied their system and enhanced it, all the while getting rid of bugs and other flaws. What did we get from all of that, the PS2, cool huh?

      Well, Sony is making the same mistake Sega did, the upcoming PS3 is going to be overpriced amongst the Xbox 360 and Nintendo Revolution. Sega is greater now game wise because they came together with Nintendo and other developers to make even greater games. Looks like everything under Sony game wise will be forced to do the same.

      After that we just have to look forward to Nintendo and Microsoft coming together, he he, I said come. That or watch them fued, we have Rare to blame for all of that in the near future. If they want they can claim the rights to Starfox and Donkey Kong, it would be a good fight but I think Microsoft would win. Rare developed these games but doesn't own the rights to them, but they did create and shape Nintendo characters in that right, they have rights to them.

        		 Hell yeah! This was the ultimate bragging system. "Oh yeah, well I have NEO GEO". I remember never believing kids when they said that they owned the NEO GEO, which usually ended up being true when I would go their house :). I only knew one kid that bought it after saving up for it w/ money from his first job. We played "Burning Fight" and "Magician Lord" for many countless hours. We got along because i was the only "younger" kid in the neighborhood that was somewhat mature for my age. Those were the days...

          		 I had a regular NG that I got from a friend and had a couple of fighting games for it (Fatal Fury 2, Art Of Fighting, Fatal Fury Special and a couple others which I do not remember at the time). I am glad he was selling it cheap when he was moving to Nevada ($200 for the system and 6 games.. Hey his pop was a lawyer).

          Unfortunately the games were outrageously priced for these systems (hat do you expect for the exact arcade game).

            		 same rules applied to over pricing with the Sega Dreamcast, they took their games from the arcade and put it out ointo a system, and so naturally a game would cost $70.

                As for the Neo, I remember walking into a Babbages (are they still around?) and seeing some game called SuperSpy (A kind of Operation Wolf style of game) and was floored. I wanted it so bad, but when the dude said the system was like 700 and the games were 200.. I jus had to kiss that one goodbye.

                    		 Neo Geo, damn. I remember sitting in history class when a guy proudly announced he got a system with a couple games over Christmas break. Everybody just starred at him until someone muttered "dude, you must be sellin' drugs 'cause that's just b*ll*hit..."

                    I wanted one so bad.
