    		 I had to vote for Final Fantasy. So many of those games were truly great, and not just another shoddy sequel. Constantly reinventing the genre and keeping the game fresh but instantly recognizable, Final Fantasy is easily the pinnacle of RPG's to date, the standard by which all other's are generally measured.

    Also, I disagree with FFX being so bad. I rather enjoyed the game, the characters, and the storyline. The voice acting was decent, and Auron was badass IMO. I enjoyed battling the challenging uber-bosses created by the Monster Rancher in the Calm Lands, and the Aeon system was pretty sweet in FFX as well. And my guilty pleasure, Blitzball, actually ate up a solid amount of my time.

    Certainly a tough choice, but FF5-9 were all totally amazing, and I think the quality of all the games in the series overall speaks for itself.

      		 The Legend of Zelda by far. I've played all the games aside from FS and FSA and enjoyed them. Not to mention entire games like LttP, OoT, and MM are permenantly burned into my brain at this point. Sonic might have given Zelda some competition had it not started sucking during this generation.

      Aw, you're being to hard. It's by no means the greatest game ever, but it brought some new freshness to the series like the in battle character swapping (something every turned based FF from now on should have) and in depth summoning. The story and characters weren't the worst ever either. You have to at least agree that it had a great soundtrack. The best in the series so far, in my opinion.

        		 Zelda all the way ocarina of time is the greatest game ever made, looked great at the time too. A link to the past was good too but come to think of it I really dont like all of the new four sword ones I hope twighlight princess brings them back on the right track. Metroid is amazing too, except for metroid 2 that was horrible.

            		 I was a huge fan of metal gear at the MSX. When I heared that Metal Gear Solid should come on PSX. I barely couldn't sleep. It is very personal, if I should look at the history of games and than the greatest game, I think it should be Mario.
