    		 I use to listen to the station called Radio Aahs / Aahs World Radio. It was from 1990-1998 and it's main station was 1280 WWTC in Minneapolis, MN. It was in California at AM 830 Orange/ Los Angeles.

    I wanted to put it in here in case somebody was looking for that. I am working on a new station with other people and former employees of the radio station for kids. I also have an Radio Aahs preservation site for anybody who has pictures of memorabillia and clips in mp3 format from the station.

      		 I used to listen to them here in Minneapolis, even as a childless mid-20-something. It was kind of fun, but they'd constantly play current remakes of classic songs, but never, ever play the original. Such as they'd play the Tiffany version of Locomotion, but they'd never pay the original by Little Eva. I have kids now, and they listen to Radio Disney.

        		 I listened from 12-18 years old. I went to their local events here in California. The local affiliate was AM 830 KPLZS Orange/ Los Angeles. Most people say that Radio Disney isn't the same. It has been my dream since it went off the air to bring Aahs back in some way and now I'm finally getting help to do it.---Melissa C.

          It definetly jumped when it became Radio Disney.

            		 My neighbor when I lived in Glendale use to work for them as a DJ. Her name is Rita. She use to give out promotional stuff to the kids in the neighborhood.

            Does anybody remember her? She wasn't really a DJ she mostly read stories over the air.

              		 I have been in contact with her. If you like I will give her your email address. Radio Aahs never turned into Radio Disney. It was a way that Disney was copying Radio Aahs. Radio Aahs and ABC had a collaboration deal that went bad, especially when ABC was bought by Disney. They had a big law suite. The company that Radio Aahs belonged to finally won and got over 10 million dollars. But the damage was done and they decided to abandon Radio Aahs.- So I am trying to make a new Aahs.--Melissa C.
