I'm not sure if this would go here or if I needed to create a separate topic for this, but there is this new place that opened in my area(Columbus GA) called Playn'Trade they are kinda like a Video Game Thrift store that specializes in retro gaming, since they opened a couple of weeks ago I picked:

The original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for the NES
Might Morphin Power Rangers for Sega Genesis
Pac Man for the Atari 2600
    Bionic Commando for the NES
    Darkman for the NES

Like I said I wasn't sure if I should post this in her our create a separate thread for it, since it's not the traditional type of Thrift Store
Who knows what is really real? That is the true question isn't it?

About a week ago I found a 1981 Milton Bradley Dark Tower board game at a Salvation Army for $1.99. I sold it on Ebay for $142.50 I also found a He Man battle cat without the battle gear for .50 cents that I had as a kid, a Br'er Bear Disney figurine for .99 cents worth over 60 dollars, and a G.I. Joe, and Mario meets Koopzilla on VHS for .99 cents a piece. What a great outing!

A Patty O'Green doll in perfect condition. A black isz (or however it's spelled) from The Maxx. And a Junk Jackal from the Trash Bag Bunch. My cousin gave me his loooong ago since I have a weakness for zombie dogs but I lost it. But now I have another. The great part is that the isz and the junk jackal were only a quarter each.

Yes, I love thrift store shopping & try to find cool vintage stuff there, mainly old toys, but they all seem to be corrupt now! What I mean by that is that there's alot of eBay Dealer wannabees in the backroom grabbing good stuff that's donated!! It's making it alot harder to find good stuff but I go anyway! Does anybody else sense this problem??

Yea, that happens at most stores nowadays I think. I met a manager of a Value Village once who had all the sorters in the back pulling out stuff as it got donated for him to sell on ebay. He told me he made more money on Ebay than managing the store. I was both upset and jealous at the same time.

From various thrift stores I've bought truckloads of old ninja turtles VHS tapes, lots of sega genesis, NES, and SNES games, and a Pac Man glass cup. Now don't even get me started on all the stuff I've bought at garage sales.

I found an old "Family Feud" board game from the '70's at a Goodwill in Iowa. I was up there about a couple of weeks ago. I didn't purchase it, however, because I was afraid that I would not be able to play it because of missing pieces.
