Does anyone else remember this series of tapes from the early 1980s? There were maybe 10 or 12 of them, semi-educational. They featured terrible european cartoons, bargain basement puppets, really bad live action vingettes, and to top it all off was this super gay computer animated(and when I say animated, I mean that they would just flip his image back and forth to move him) host named Harmony Heart. I'm not sure if they used the correct spelling or not. Anyway, he had a big cartoon heart on his chest, and rainbow-like legs and arms. The truly sad thing is that I even remember the theme song he would sing before and after each episode. "Open up all of the doors my friends/you've got all the keys/open up all of the doors my friend/come fun learning with me/come fun learning with me!" Yeah, it was pretty terrible. I can't find a trace of the thing on the internet--anywhere. My mom tossed all the copies we had like 15 years ago and I'm dying to see them again, if only because it'd be really funny while chemically altered.
Please don't tell me I imagined all this, or I'd have to go reconsider my sanity.
