i remember playing my friend in some fighting game on either the ps2 or dreamcast, it had a soft reset option where you can just hold certain buttons and reset the game like normal, and my friend would pull that off and say "What the hell happened?" when i was about to own his A**

      lol, i'd get so mad!

Yeah that happened when i went to my friend house to play some game i can't remember the name for. But instead he used to use his feet to take the controller out of the port and act like it was some type of special move that freezes the oppenant heh..

My friend knocked over my dreamcast before when we was playng NBA2k1 or 2k2 can't remember. And i was beating his a** in the Rucker park and he "accidently" kicked over the entire thing..Luckily enough those things can take a couple of bumps.

And that soft reset is the DreamCast

Judge: I call this session of The Gamers Court to order. Now I see Jim, that you are suing Bob for violating article 4 subsection B of the gamers code, specifically pretending to accidentally reset the game and insulting your intelligence by claiming it was an accident.

You are also suing for punitive damages as a result Bob claiming "His controller didn't work".

                    Jim: Yes, your honor.

Judge: The defendant may state his case.

Bob: I thought it was a practice game, your honor.

Judge: One more remark like that and I will hold you in contempt! jim, how much are you claiming?

                    Jim: His balls, your honor.

Another line that I envisioned in there, but i couldn't make it fit was:

"Lawyer: Objection your honor! My client thought they were on the same team!"

I klove the things we used to say as kids when we lost.
