I agree with reaper that is my exact order as well.

the first Zelda, Legend of Zelda, pretty much changed the direction fo my life, it was brilliant, and pretty much nothing can beat that feeling I had playing that game for the first time, from the awesoem comemrcials giving me this huge anticipation, to the moment of actually havign it in my hands with its beautiful golden cartridge..to the mysteries I sought to uincover in its very deep gameplay. ahh, its like no game can ever give me that feeling again, no matter how many have tried.

The Legend of Zelda is my favorite series. I've played all of them thus far and I'm egarly awaiting Twilight Princess and Phantom Hourglass.

        My favorites are:

        A Link to the Past
        Link's Awakening (my first)
        Majora's Mask
        Wind Waker
        Ocarina of Time

My least favorite has to be the original. Sometime after the fourth dungeon or so things just get so frustrating for me.

frustrating? Cauce you coudln't figure anything out, or soemthing else?

That was the best part for me, unlike today where rpgs consist of just hacking and slashing 1000000000000s of enemies to beabel to kill the boss at the end.

I know EXACTLY what you mean. That was THE game that got me into gaming.

In fact I rented the original Zelda so many times at a video store that tthe mangager told me I could have it for $10 bucks, I totally took him up on it and wherever he is today I just want to say thank you! :D

Me and Flamepanther had a great idea about someone making an animated Zelda game in the style of the artwork found in the original NES booklet (Totally different from The Wind Waker).

I would KILL for that game!

yea, a game with that art work would pretty much dominate if that was ever done.

Not that, it was the enemies. Those freakin' rooms filled with Darknuts and Wizrobes just drive me up the wall. I'm always seeing people saying Zelda II was the hardest, but I just have to disagree.

yea, I do agree the game is frustrating, specially losing my big shield to those snake things.

the most frustrating enemies for me are the red knights (or blue, which ever took more hits to kill). A room full fo those and I'd be there for HOURS backign in and out of the door for safety, waiting for one to turn the hell around.

Zelda II beat me like Ike beat Tina.

Majora's Mask was damn frustrating as well. :x

Zelda is the best video game series ever made, and the wait for Twilight Princess is eating away at my very soul. Um...I mean Zelda pretty cool...I guess.
