Around the same time as "Under The Umbrella Tree" (see my last post), there was a live action/puppetry show called Balloonar Landing. (Don't criticize my spelling. :P ) I remember it sort of ran along the same lines as the various Sharon, Lois, and Bram shows that there were over the course of their careers. Does anyone have any information about this show? I vageuly remember the theme song...

    "Come along to Balloonar Landing,
    There's a welcome for everyone!
Make new friends in Balloonar Landing,
    (something something, something something.)"

"There's Doogood the Dog, and Prudence the Parrot,
and all the little critters (something something).
There's lots to see in Balloonar Landing,
(something something something, something.)" (repeat first verse).

Also, now that I think of it, there was a show, maybe 6-8 years ago, on TLC's "Ready, Set, Learn!" early-morning lineup that I believe was called "The Swamp Critters". All I rember is that there was a character named Chicken Gumbo, who I think was a crab. Anyone have a clue?

Any help would help :) ,
    Mason.

I too remember Ballooner Landing (I think thats how you spell it). They used to sing a song on their show at the end:

"Oh a smile, goes a long long way..." LOL, I don't remember all of it.

I used to watch "Ready, Set, Learn" too, but I don't remember the second show you're talking about. Does anyone remember Iris the Happy Professor? It was a show about puppets who go to school and learn. The teacher was a bird and there was this pink piano.

        I remember Professor Iris! :D

        "A skeleton, a piano, and a plant,
All here to lend a hand.
And when you hear the class bell ring,
You know it's time to sing and dance!"

Good times were had by all.
