    		 I only know limited stuff on this programme, but its bugging me!

    It was on when I was only about 5 or 6 years old in the mid 80's.

    I remember it being annoying as it only lasted 10 minutes and I wanted it over and done with because thats when the cartoons would start!!!

    It was a guy with white/grey hair talking about something or other (poss a small story).

    Then when it finished the ending was a spinning box (possibly a glass box a kind of crystal poss purple colour - from memory)

    It just span round and round.

    I know its not allot of info, but anyone got any clues?

        		 If the show ran on Nickelodeon, it was called Mr. Wizard, he would show kids cool science expierments. Like the trick on how to make a purple box appear to spin before the audiences eyes.

        I hated this f@#$in show. I thought I would hate all science shows from then on, but Beakmans World came out in the 90's and so did Bill Nye the Science Guy, two geat shows with two great comedians.

        I hope I helped tweety, i'm not totally sure that is the show you remember or not, but from your description, its the one I remember.
