I think his expertise only extends to NES/SNES. :?

    But I'll try something different...........How about Custer's Revenge? :P

Bob: Geat job on that ET job. They never knew any better. Now about that Custer Game. Hwo is that coming along.

Jim: Well, man. I wanted to like, you know, think outside the box on this one. I thought maybe Custer should hop around obstacles and use this belt mounted knife to cut native american women free from being tied up as a sacrifice.

Bob: Sounds really good, We'll ship it out as soon as you make sure all the colors in the pallette are correct.

Jim: Nah, the colors should be fine, besides if they are off a little it's not like people won't get what's going on....

That is indeed not Nintendo, but boy; I can understand why you mentioned it! It's the most challenging Sonic game of all. Making the good future AND getting all Time zones, not to mention fighting the boss, turns unbelievably hard from zone 5 onwards.

Bob: Well guys, games with licensed characters are really popular, we need to get in on this action.

Jim: How about the Ninja Turtles? Or the Ghostbusters?

Bob: Those would be great, but I spent most of this quarters profits on a top loading betamax. We need something more affordable.

Jim: I say this one guy, the Noid, seems to be a bottom of the barrel character as far as cartoons go. He's a mascot, I would write a letter to the company telling them how cool the mascot is, and how I can really see a partnership going somewhere, then once we milk all the money we can out of it we can drop it and pretend that the company had nothing to do with it.

Bob: Hey, that's not a bad idea.

Jim: How do you think I got my second wife?

Mystic Quest or maybe that's just the most boring.

Bob: Ok, well we have the rights to make Final Fantasy game, but we can't afford support from overseas. This has to be an in house project.

Jim: Well to keep cost down we're going to have figure out which features are needed and which gamers can do without.

Bob: Well, games today seem to have too many gimmicks. We should stay with the theme of the game and create a strong story line and game systemk, and leave out any sort of luring in gimmics like weird additions to the system or useless special attack systems.

Jim: I was thinking we could get rid of any autonomy and free wandering on the overhead map, replace random battles with visible enemy models and use all the saved space to give gamers what they really want: an option to not control their own characters in a strategy game.

Bob: (Distracted, looking at a magazine) Yeah, whatever. I'll leave it in your hands.... what the hell is VHS?

And as a combination, it was very hard to resist blasphemy while playing MC Kids.

I've only been bested by two games: "Deadly Towers" and "Battletoads". I destroyed no fewer than three controllers in frustration-racked tantrums over the final stage of Battletoads. I'm getting angry just thinking about it... I think I need some closure. Perhaps I'll revisit Battletoads and try my luck again. After all, I'm older, I'm wiser, and a hell of a lot more patient. Alright, I've convinced myself. Wish me luck. I'm off to Ebay!
