Ive searched the net up and down, but can never find an extremely thorough site that covers the toys made in the 80's. Im trying to find some rare stuff that I had, but I dont remember what its called, so looking it up on the net is pretty much impossible.

        toyarchive.com, action-figures.ca.

You might want to search memory lane for the 80's Sears, Pennys and Wards Christmas catalog scans I posted.

Brianstoys is outragously overpriced. Its one of the last figure sites I would shop at.

No shit man, I was trying to win a 1985 MOC Shipwreck on ebay and brianstoys outbid me just to get it graded and sell it for 100,000. That was the only Gi joe my dad bought me when I was a kid...I was going to cherish that figure for the rest of my life.

Boy I hate to get outbid by stores who just want to turn around and then mark it up. That's totally against the spirit of ebay.

I bought some vintage stuff from Brian's toys about 5 years ago and for what it's worth they were nice and the stuff was as advertised. As for new stuff, yeah they're basically glorified scalpers... And AFA (Action Figure Authority) grading is the biggest scam in toy collecting today IMO.

                            OK, end of rant.

Here's a nice site for toy fans. It a new (and kinda crude) site that's a series of articles based on toys ranging from the 80's and 90's. There's also a blog for people to post comments, so enjoy. This site is most likely like nothing you've ever seen, and if so leave some feedback!

Even today I still have my old video game plushies:

                                  Sonic
                                  Tails
                                  Yoshi
                                  Pikachu
                                  Crash Bandicoot

I won Yoshi by playing a UFO catcher.
I remember buying Crash Bandicoot alongside my first Game Boy Color game: Game & Watch Gallery 2 (I bought the Game Boy Color itself from one store, but had to go to another to buy a color game) .
