I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but it's about video games so I thought maybe it's ok.

I had a Sega Genesis growing up but sold it and recently (about two years ago) got a new one because I was foolish to sell the original. Anyway, my new Sega Genesis has a CD disc player attached it to. Anyone know if it plays music or do they make sega games for it? anyone know?

There are over 100 Sega CD games for the CD attachment. Snatcher and the Lunar titles are the most celebrated on the system. If you are into Full Motion Video titles, there are plenty of those for the system as well.

I had a Friend that had a Sega Saturn and He would use it to play his Music Cd's, So Try Putting in a Music Cd Turn it On and See if it Will Play It! :D

It will play music CDs as well as games.

Besides Lunar and Snatcher, I suggest trying to find Sonic CD, Popful Mail, Final Fight CD, Silpheed, and Heavy Nova. I'd suggest staying away from Night Trap and Sewer Shark.

flamepanther has some very good pics there. Dark Wizard was good too if you like strategy games and Legend of Vay was another good RPG that Working Designs brought over from Japan.

u can also listne ot music FROM the games. I put it into cd-rom mode on mine and put in eternal champions for sega cd and trakc 2 and on are music tracks and u can listen to all music on the game, there's even 1 or 2 tracks not even used in the game and they're real good. It's all music no lyrics but its damn good qality namely cuz the music from the sega eternal champions is revamped to be of cd quality and might even be changed, i dunno, been a while since i listened.

But yea just lettin people know that so if they liked music from their sega cd game,s chances are most could be listened to, some even worked in regular cd players to listen to and on PCs. I remember listening to the eternal champs cd in my portable cd player years ago.

I had a SEGA CD. I played the original Star Wars: Rebel Assault on it.

I loved Sewer Shark. Never got why so many people despised it. I thought that, as far as FMV (full-motion video) games went, it was a lot better than the majority out there. In fact, Sewer Shark was one of the reasons I bought a 3DO - simply to have it with better quality video. (It was Wing Commander III and Super Wing Commander that REALLY sold me on 3DO, though...) Digital Pictures was actually trying to do some interesting things with FMV games. Never played all the ones they did, but I enjoyed the ones I got my hands on.
