        		 Probably wasn't Crystal Castles, cuz that was on the Atari 2600, but it's the only one that comes to mind.

          He says it was at school, so odds are very high that it was an educational game. What comes to mind for me is the Stickbear series of educational computer games from the 1980s. It included games like "Stickybear Reading" and "Stickybear Math"

                  		 ^ I think that was X-treme Sports, or something awesomely wicked like that. That Berenstein Bears Camping Adventure wasn't the worst thing I ever played. No masterpiece either...

                  In the unlikely event that it wasn't Stickybear (yuck, what a disgusting name...), was the bear the main character? Was he an enemy? What did you do in this game? What did the bear look like? Was it a polar bear? Was it a grizzly bear? Was it a pink bear in a tutu? Was it Genma Saotome? What else do you remember about it?
